From there, continue to the dramatic Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world, and onward to the windswept coastline of Lüderitz, where German colonial charm meets desert beauty. Explore the hauntingly beautiful Kolmanskop Ghost Town, spot the legendary wild desert horses near Aus, and journey north to the legendary sea of sand at Sossusvlei. Climb towering dunes, wander through the ancient clay pan of Deadvlei, and discover the sculpted Sesriem Canyon before heading west to Swakopmund for coastal adventures, marine wildlife, and optional activities ranging from dolphin cruises to dune quad biking. Your journey then leads along the dramatic Skeleton Coast to Twyfelfontein, home to UNESCO-listed rock engravings, unique geological formations, and the rich cultural heritage of the Damara people.
Continuing north, you’ll travel into the remote Kaokoland region to meet the Himba people and spend time at the breathtaking Epupa Falls, where palm-lined banks and cascading waters form a striking oasis on the Angolan border. The safari experience deepens as you enter Etosha National Park from west to east, enjoying multiple days of game viewing at waterholes frequented by elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, and abundant birdlife. After exiting the park, unwind on a private reserve at Otjiwa, one of Namibia’s oldest game farms, with optional rhino tracking, night drives, and sundowner excursions. As your journey concludes, return to Windhoek with memories of Namibia’s extraordinary beauty, its deserts, canyons, coastlines, cultures, wildlife, and warm hospitality.
