For those seeking a unique water-based wildlife experience, Watamu Marine National Park presents an enticing alternative to traditional land safaris.
The most famous of all in Kenya is the Maasai Mara. Its vast expanses teem with an abundance of animals, including the majestic Big Five. The Mara is also famous for the awe-inspiring annual wildebeest migration, which takes place between June and October. When is the best time of the year to visit?

Kenya truly is an all year round destination to visit. Whilst there can be differences in temperature and rainfall between the different regions, most people are visiting Kenya for the spectacular wildlife, and this is something that can be enjoyed at all times of the year. July to October is known as high-season and this is primarily because this is when the infamous wildebeest migration Our favourite month to visit is November and this is because you can typically get a better rate on lodges as this is a less popular time to visit, however the weather is still comfortably warm and the wildlife sightings are still good. There is a chance of rain, but this actually offers fantastic photo opportunities with exceptional colours and rapidly changing skies adding fantastic contrasts.
