Maasai Mara Kenya Safari and Zanzibar

Your Maasai Mara Kenya Safari begins in Nairobi, where you are warmly welcomed on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay. The following morning, travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Here, alkaline waters shimmer beneath vast skies, attracting spectacular flocks of flamingos and over 450 bird species. The park is also a renowned sanctuary for both black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, lion and leopard. Enjoy game drives across acacia woodlands and open plains, with time to relax at your lodge and take in the peaceful surroundings.

From Nakuru, continue south to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Rolling savannahs, iconic acacia trees and the winding Mara River create the backdrop for extraordinary wildlife encounters. Over several days, explore the reserve on morning and afternoon game drives or full day safaris with picnic lunches, maximizing your chances of seeing the Big Five along with cheetah, hyena and vast herds of plains game. The Mara is also home to the Maasai people, whose rich culture and traditions add depth and meaning to your time in this remarkable landscape.

After your safari adventure, return to Nairobi for your onward flight to the tropical island of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your beachfront resort, where the rhythm of the Indian Ocean replaces the excitement of the savannah. Soft white sands, turquoise waters and swaying palms create an idyllic setting for rest and rejuvenation.

Spend seven nights unwinding at The Mora Zanzibar, enjoying the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. Lounge by the pool, indulge in spa treatments, stroll along pristine beaches or discover the island’s cultural treasures, from historic Stone Town to fragrant spice farms. This seamless combination of Kenya’s iconic wildlife and Zanzibar’s coastal beauty offers the ultimate East African journey, ending your adventure in pure tropical serenity.
