Set among acacia trees, the lodge has a relaxed bush atmosphere that works well for travellers focused on wildlife and easy access to the park. It feels informal and practical, making it a popular choice for both self-drive and guided safari itineraries.
The chalets are spacious, clean and well designed for comfort in a warm climate. Each unit offers en-suite facilities and a private outdoor area, providing a pleasant space to relax after a day of game viewing. While the décor is simple rather than luxurious, the rooms are well maintained and perfectly suited to the lodge’s purpose as a safari base.
The central lodge area brings guests together with a restaurant, bar and swimming pool set in shaded surroundings. Meals are generous and satisfying, and the communal spaces encourage a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. The pool is particularly welcome in the heat of the day, offering a refreshing break between activities.
Location is the lodge’s strongest asset. Its proximity to Etosha’s Andersson Gate allows for early starts and unhurried game drives, maximising time inside the park.
