Day 1: Arrival in Accra – Akwaaba!
Arrive in Accra and receive a warm Ghanaian welcome from your guide before transferring to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and a relaxed evening as you settle into West Africa’s vibrant atmosphere.
Day 2: Accra
Explore Ghana’s lively capital – from the National Museum and Jamestown’s colonial landmarks to Independence Square and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. End with a visit to the unique Fantasy Coffins of Teshie Nungua.
Day 3: Volta Region
Depart Accra to visit TK Beads, Shai Hills Reserve, and enjoy a scenic Volta River cruise with lunch overlooking the water. Tour the Akosombo Dam, an impressive hydro-engineering marvel, before continuing to your Volta accommodation.
Day 4: Wli Falls
Trek to Wli Falls, West Africa’s highest waterfall, meet the sacred monkeys of Tafi Atome Sanctuary, and visit Tafi Abuife Village to watch traditional Ewe Kente weaving in action.
Day 5: Kumasi
