Winter Special – South Africa Safari with JoBurg and Cape

Tour Overview

Prices From: £1595/$2075 per person sharing (May to August)

Discover South Africa at its most captivating — and most affordable — with this excellent-value winter journey available from May to August. Experience the perfect blend of culture, wildlife, and coastal beauty while enjoying the quieter, more intimate side of the country during its mild winter season.

Begin in Johannesburg, where you’ll spend two nights exploring the country’s fascinating past and vibrant present. A guided day tour takes you through Soweto, the poignant Apartheid Museum, and the ancient Cradle of Humankind, offering a powerful insight into South Africa’s heritage and resilience. Next, escape to the bush for four unforgettable nights at Kwafubesi Safari Lodge in the Waterberg. This is prime South Africa safari season — the dry winter months when vegetation is thinner, water sources attract abundant wildlife, and sightings are at their best. Wake to crisp mornings, enjoy spectacular game drives and walking safaris, and unwind with sundowners by the fire beneath the African stars. Conclude your adventure with three nights in Cape Town, a city where dramatic landscapes meet world-class food and culture. While winter brings cooler, changeable weather, it’s also a time of incredible value and fewer crowds — perfect for exploring the Winelands, Table Mountain, and the city’s vibrant waterfront at your own pace.

With carefully chosen lodges, seamless logistics, and superb inclusions, this winter escape offers exceptional value for money without compromising on comfort, experience, or style.
