Ashnil Aruba Lodge is a fantastic option for a safari stay in Tsavo East, especially thanks to its beautiful setting near the Aruba Dam. The lodge has a relaxed atmosphere and offers excellent opportunities to enjoy wildlife both during game drives and right from the property itself.

One of the highlights of our stay was the newly built club rooms, which are truly lovely. They feel modern, fresh, and very comfortable, with a more updated style that adds a touch of luxury to the safari experience. The design and finish make them a great choice for guests looking for something a bit more upscale.

In comparison, the older cottage style rooms are a bit dated. While they are still functional and provide everything you need, they do not have the same polished feel as the newer club rooms. If comfort and modern touches matter to you, it is definitely worth requesting the newer accommodation.

The food at Ashnil Aruba Lodge was another strong point. Meals are served buffet style, with a great variety of options and consistently good quality. There is something for everyone, and it is especially satisfying after long days out in the park.

The lodge’s location overlooking the watering hole is a major bonus. Watching animals come down to drink adds an extra layer of excitement to the stay, even when you are simply relaxing at the lodge. Overall, Ashnil Aruba Lodge combines great wildlife viewing, excellent buffet dining, and standout new rooms, making it a memorable base for exploring Tsavo East.
