Day Overview
Day 01 – Arrival & Introduction to Odzala
Fly privately from Brazzaville to Mboko airstrip and enjoy a scenic 2–3 hour safari drive through savannas and rainforest to Ngaga Lodge. Settle in for four nights and join your guide around the fire for a gorilla tracking and conservation briefing.
Days 02–04 – Gorilla Tracking & Forest Exploration at Ngaga
Spend three days in the Ndzehi Concession, home to world-class primate research. Track Western Lowland Gorillas on three included treks and explore the forest through guided walks, night outings, village visits (on request), and atmospheric sundowners.
Day 05 – Kayak Transfer to Lango Lodge
After a final walk in Ngaga’s rainforest, transfer by road to Mboko Lodge, then kayak the Lekoli River, spotting wildlife along the banks. Continue on foot into Lango Bai for sundowners and settle into Lango Lodge for three nights.
Days 06–07 – Immersive Wetland & Bai Adventures
Follow elephant trails through streams, baïs, and forests as you explore one of Odzala’s most dynamic landscapes. Look for buffalo, monkeys, roosting pigeons, and, with luck, bongos or forest elephants. Guided walks reveal the ecology, waterways, and varied biomes surrounding Lango Bai.
Day 08 – Wetlands Walk & Transfer to Mboko
Begin with a dawn walking safari, then walk across the wetlands on raised walkways before continuing by vehicle to Mboko Lodge. After lunch, enjoy a forest walk or downtime on the river deck, followed by a peaceful late-afternoon river cruise.
Days 09–10 – River, Forest & Savanna Exploration at Mboko
Discover Mboko’s mix of open grasslands, rivers, and forests through walking safaris, kayaking, and boating. Search for elephants, buffalo, hyenas, monkeys, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Relax between activities in cool streams or on the scenic river deck.
Day 11 – Departure
Enjoy a final game drive through the savanna before boarding a private flight back to Brazzaville to connect with your international journey.
