This curated adventure brings together the country’s iconic destinations, from the towering dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib-Naukluft Park to the rugged Skeleton Coast, the dramatic vistas of Damaraland, and the wildlife-rich expanses of Etosha National Park.
Stretching more than 1,500 km along the Atlantic and reaching up to 200 km inland, the Namib Desert is considered the oldest desert on Earth. Its astonishing variety of scenery ranges from the immense apricot-coloured dunes of the Great Sand Sea to the mist-shrouded shores and shipwrecks of the Skeleton Coast.
In Damaraland, sculpted mountains, ancient riverbeds and vast open spaces create a breathtaking backdrop for encounters with remarkable desert-adapted wildlife. Here, elephants, rhinos, lions, and hardy plains game navigate the arid terrain with a resilience found nowhere else.
Your safari concludes in the legendary Etosha National Park, where animals gather at waterholes in impressive numbers, especially during the midday heat. It’s common to witness multiple species side by side, an unforgettable sight enriched by Etosha’s lions, large elephant herds, unique antelope species, and an impressive diversity of birdlife, including 46 species of raptors.
