Central Tuli Safari and Culture Tour
Prices From: £2795 / $3600 per person sharing (January to Mid-December)
Experience an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve, on our Central Tuli Safari and Culture Tour where untamed wilderness, rich culture and meaningful conservation come together across 15 000 hectares of private land. This is the only area in Tuli with original wetlands and natural pans that remain full all year round, attracting an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. With the highest density of leopard and brown hyena in Southern Africa, and less than seven percent annual rainfall, the reserve offers exceptional game viewing in every season, making it a truly outstanding year round safari destination.
Exclusivity defines the experience. With only three vehicles operating across the entire concession, every drive feels private and unhurried. There are no strict time slots for game drives, allowing you the freedom to remain out in the bush for as long as sightings unfold and guests wish to stay. Early mornings and golden afternoons blend seamlessly into evenings under vast African skies, untouched by light pollution and perfect for remarkable stargazing.
Days balance adventure with tranquility. Between thrilling wildlife encounters, relax on the deck of your tented suite overlooking the Limpopo River, enjoy farm fresh cuisine grown as far as possible from our own fruit and vegetable gardens, and savour candlelit dinners beneath the stars. Our camps operate entirely on solar energy, and each guest receives a reusable water bottle on arrival, reflecting our commitment to low impact, sustainable tourism.
This journey extends beyond the safari vehicle. Join our professional research team to gain insight into ongoing studies of the Koro leopard, brown hyena and other elusive species, and discover how camera trap monitoring supports vital conservation work. Engage with local communities through meaningful visits supported by the Timbo Foundation, and explore ancient rock art sites that reveal the deep cultural heritage of the region. Here, every stay contributes to conservation, community development and the preservation of one of Africa’s most remarkable wilderness areas.
