Day Overview
Day 1: Maun
Arrive in Maun and transfer to your lodge set along the peaceful Thamalakane River, en route to the Okavango Delta. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities or optional activities before meeting your guide and fellow travellers in the evening for a pre-departure briefing.
Days 2–3: Guma Lagoon (Okavango Delta)
Travel to Etsha 13 on the western edge of the Okavango Delta, a unique inland delta flowing into the Kalahari Desert. Explore this pristine wetland by traditional mokoro, gliding through narrow waterways rich in birdlife and wildlife. A guided walk on a secluded island offers the chance to spot elephant, waterbuck and other animals in this tranquil wilderness.
Day 4: Greater Moremi
Journey south via Maun to a private concession near the Moremi Game Reserve, renowned for its exceptional wildlife density. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a sunset or evening game drive with opportunities to encounter a wide variety of species, including nocturnal animals.
Day 5: Greater Moremi
Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, exploring the diverse habitats of the Greater Moremi area in search of its abundant wildlife.
Day 6: Khwai Area (Greater Moremi)
Embark on a full-day game drive in the Khwai region, where lagoons, plains and forests attract large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as predators such as lion and leopard, alongside prolific birdlife.
Day 7: Nata
Leave the bush behind and travel east to the Makgadikgadi Pans, the world’s largest salt pan system. Arrive in Nata in the late afternoon and take in the vast, otherworldly landscapes of this unique region.
Days 8–9: Chobe River Front
Visit Nata Bird Sanctuary before continuing north to Kasane, gateway to Chobe National Park. Enjoy leisure time on arrival, followed by a morning game drive in Chobe and an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River, offering excellent close-up wildlife viewing, especially of elephants, hippos and crocodiles.
Days 10–12: Western Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe)
Cross into Zimbabwe and travel to the remote western sector of Hwange National Park. Spend several days on immersive game drives in one of Africa’s great wildlife sanctuaries, home to large elephant herds, predators, diverse plains game and rich birdlife, with time to relax at the lodge between activities.
Days 13–14: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
Travel to Victoria Falls and enjoy free time to explore the town and optional adventure activities. Take a guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi oa Tunya – “The Smoke That Thunders”, and unwind on a sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River.
Day 15: End of Itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward journey, bringing an unforgettable African safari adventure to a close.
