13 Day Explore Zimbabwe Small Group Tour

Tour Overview

Prices from £4995 / $6595 per person (no solo supplement)

Discover the very best of Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park and the mighty Zambezi River on this immersive Zimbabwe small group tour. Your journey begins with three nights in Victoria Falls, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the falls, lunch at the iconic Lookout Café perched above Batoka Gorge, and a sunrise ride on the charming Bamba tram to the historic bridge. You’ll also experience a township-style lunch at Dusty Road, a vibrant performance of Simunye and a classic Zambezi sunset cruise, all while based at a comfortable lodge with time to relax by the pool or explore town at your own pace.

From here, you fly into Hwange National Park for six unforgettable nights split between Bomani and Nehimba Lodges. Game drives in this wildlife-rich region offer excellent chances to see large elephant herds, predators and diverse birdlife, while a community village visit reveals how conservation and tourism directly support local people. A rhino walk with the Imvelo Rhino Project adds a powerful conservation focus to your safari, giving you the rare opportunity to learn about and observe these iconic animals on foot in a carefully managed setting.

Your adventure then slows to the gentle rhythm of the Zambezi as you board The Zambezi Trader from Msuna Island for a peaceful two-night river cruise along the mighty Zambezi. Tender boat excursions bring you close to wildlife along the riverbanks, or you can simply relax on deck and watch the scenery drift by. The journey concludes back in Victoria Falls with a final night at Waterfalls Lodge (or similar) and a traditional afternoon tea on the wonderful Stanley Terrace at the historic Victoria Falls Hotel. A fitting, nostalgic farewell to an extraordinary Zimbabwean adventure.
