Madagascar is a unique country. Not only is it the fourth largest island on the planet it is also home to a diverse array of different species that are simply not found anywhere else. These include more than half the world’s chameleons and dozens of species of the energetic lemur.
As well as unique wildlife Madagascar is home to a wide variety of differing landscapes, offering the opportunity to experience a variety of terrains on your trip. Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve is a beautiful labyrinth of limestone, Baobab Avenue is lined with giant magnificent trees, Isalo National Park has a rugged terrain with waterfalls, ravines, cliffs and gorges, and Nosy Be is a volcanic island offering stuniing and relaxing beaches.
Unless travelling for an extended period it is unlikely that you will be able to see all that Madagascar has to offer, so it is important to decide what your interests are for your trip . We offer three group Madagascar tours that are each quite different, as they focus on exploring an individual region.
