Mlilwane Game Sanctuary Rest Camp offers a peaceful and authentic stay within one of Eswatini’s most scenic wildlife areas. The setting is wonderfully natural, with open grasslands and roaming wildlife creating a relaxed and immersive atmosphere. Staying inside the sanctuary allows guests to feel truly connected to the environment and enjoy the area at a slower pace.
The beehive huts are a highlight of the experience, and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the furniture inside. The interiors are comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, offering a good level of comfort while maintaining a traditional style. The huts feel cosy and characterful, adding to the charm of the stay.
The bathrooms are a little dated and could benefit from updating, but they are functional and clean. This minor drawback is easy to overlook given the opportunity to stay in such traditional accommodation. The overall experience feels authentic and well suited to the setting rather than overly modern.
