Our Review

★★★★★

We visited Nata Lodge as part of a longer group tour and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. One of the first things that stood out was the size of the rooms, which were far more spacious than expected and very comfortable after long days of travel. The lodge handled group logistics well, and, as is standard in Botswana, the service throughout our stay was exceptional.

The accommodation is simple but well designed, with large rooms that provide plenty of space to relax. Everything was clean, functional and well maintained, and the layout of the lodge worked well for a group stay while still allowing privacy. The friendly and attentive staff contributed greatly to the welcoming atmosphere.

Nata Lodge’s location is excellent for exploring the nearby Makgadikgadi salt pans, which was a major highlight of our visit. The vast, open landscapes around the lodge added to the sense of being somewhere truly unique. We also enjoyed some fantastic bird sightings in the area, which was especially rewarding.

Dining at the lodge was another highlight, with a great meal at the restaurant that exceeded expectations. The food was well prepared and generous, and the relaxed dining setting was perfect after a full day of exploring. Overall, Nata Lodge proved to be a comfortable and well-run stop, offering spacious rooms, outstanding service and an excellent base for discovering Botswana’s salt pan landscapes.
