When is the best time of the year to visit?

The different regions in Madagascar have differing temperatures and rainfall throughout the year, so it will depend on where you are planning to visit as to when will be the best time to go. If you are looking to visit multiple regions then we recommend visiting in September or October as these months are good in most regions. These are also the months to visit if you are looking for a beach stay on the eastern coast. Whilst many are tempted by stays over the summer/Christmas period this time can be extremely hot, and there is a risk of cyclones.
