Day Overview
Day 1 – Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by a local representative and transferred to Kaliwa Lodge in Moshi. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before your safari begins.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park. On arrival enjoy your first game drive through landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.
Day 3 – Tarangire National Park
Spend the day exploring Tarangire with either a full day or half day game drive. Discover the park’s diverse habitats and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities while enjoying the dramatic scenery of the African savannah.
Day 4 – Serengeti National Park
Depart after breakfast for the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enter the park at Naabi Hill Gate and begin your first Serengeti game drive across the vast plains before arriving at your safari camp for the evening.
Day 5 – Serengeti Safari
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Search for lions, cheetahs, elephants and large herds of zebra and wildebeest while exploring one of the world’s most famous wildlife ecosystems.
Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater and Karatu
Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Discover this remarkable wildlife haven before continuing to your lodge near Karatu.
Day 7 – Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience
Visit Lake Eyasi for a fascinating cultural experience. Meet the Datoga people, known for their traditional blacksmithing skills, and spend time with the Hadzabe tribe learning about their hunter gatherer lifestyle.
Day 8 – Zanzibar
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the island of Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your beachfront lodge in Pwani Mchangani.
Days 9 to 14 – Zanzibar
Enjoy days at leisure relaxing on Zanzibar’s beautiful white sand beaches. Optional activities include snorkelling, dhow cruises, spice tours or exploring the historic streets of Stone Town.
Day 15 – Home
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or journey home.
