Our private Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Tour offers the perfect opportunity to explore two of the most renowned safari locations in the world, as well as having a short one-night stay in Tarangire National Park which is renowned for its large elephant herds and beautiful baobab trees.
The Serengeti spans an area of approximately 30,000 square kilometers (12,000 square miles), encompassing plains, savannahs, woodlands, and riverine forests. It forms part of the larger Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, which includes the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The park, established in 1951, covers a significant portion of the Serengeti ecosystem and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers incredible opportunities for wildlife viewing through game drives, hot air balloon safaris, and guided walks. The park is divided into different regions, including the Seronera Valley, known for its high concentration of predators. The Serengeti is perhaps most famous for the annual Great Migration of millions of wildebeest and other herbivores, and spectacular that occurs between June and September each year.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a unique and extraordinary protected area in Tanzania, most famous for its crater. The Ngorongoro crater is another UNESCO World Heritage site and is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its breathtaking scenery. The crater is home to a remarkable array of wildlife, making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in Africa. You can expect to see an impressive diversity of animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, and flamingos, among others. The density and variety of wildlife within the relatively small area of the crater are truly exceptional.
