Arrive into kamuzu international airport in lilongwe, where you will be met and assisted by your local representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will go on a brief Lilongwe city tour. A tour that takes you to Capital Hill - seat of government administrative buildings, nature sanctuary and the Kamuzu musoleum (Malawi's first president)
After breakfast you depart for central lake Malawi in Senga-bay passing through typical Malawian villages on the way. A boat transfer awaits you to get to Blue Zebra, a beautiful off shore island. Dinner and overnight at Blue Zebra
The next couple of days are spent on the island. You primary activity is to relax and enjoy the stunning views! There are also several watersport activities available at the hotel at minimum rates.
Today you depart Blue Zebra for Liwonde National Park, with a stopover at Mua Mission enroute. Mua mission is Malawi's premier museum presenting the country's history, culture and art. The museum describes Malawi's three tribes namely Yao, Chew and ngoni, their origins, battles, slave trade influence, Christian and Islam influence and more. Liwonde National Park is a true evocative of a vanishing Africa. Here you can experience the best of malawian safaris. Hippos bask in slow moving pools and crocodiles lurk on mudflats. Today depart Zomba for Blantyre passing through mulanje mountain, which is the highest mountain in central Africa. Also pass through Dziwe la Nkhalamba pool. Dinner and overnight Thyolo Estate House
After breakfast, visit a tea factory before heading for Blantyre. After arrival in Blantyre, check in at your hotel, then after lunch, take a city tour. Dinner and overnight at your Blantyre hotel.
Today at an agreed time you will transfer to Chileka airport for the flight back home.
