On arrival at Cape Town International airport you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest if your day at leisure. Resting at the convergence of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean, and located between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the beautiful blue waters of Table Bay, the oustandinglyy scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. With its bustling harbour, world-class beaches, top-notch vineyards, and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates the hearts of all who visit.
Your guide will take you approx 2 hours into the wine region to the historic Riebeek Kasteel - you can stop for some wine tasting and lunch en route - and check in at Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse where all meals and activities are included for the next two nights. Your stay includes all meals (afternoon tea, snacks and sundowners, four-course dinner, early morning coffee and pastries, mid-morning brunch), morning and evening nature drives, twice-daily activities and all unaccompanied activities (mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking).
After a leisurely breakfast, your guide will again meet you to take you through the semi desert landscape and historical small farm villages of the Small Karoo. Early afternoon you will check in to De Zeekoe Guest House. The rest of the day can be spent at your leisure. De Zeekoe offers a unique in the world opportunity to walk with Wild Meerkats (Meerkat adventures) and to be part of the shy 5 experience! Enjoy the restaurant with fresh farm produce and free range meat, gluten free available. Free wifi, star gazing, private bird tours, bikes to rent and canoeing are also on offer as well as a salt water pool.
Today will be an early start as you take part in the amazing meerkat experience. You will travel a short distance to meet with your guide who will tell you all about meerkats, before taking a seat to watch them in their natural habitat. Later in the day you will visit the world famous Cango Caves, which are a subterranean wonderland of magnificent stalactite and stalagmite rock formations that attract thousands of visitors annually. They extend more than two kilometres into the Swartberg Mountains and you will take a guided tour that winds through narrow passageways and steep stairways linking the massive caverns.
Today after breakfast you will meet with your guide and drive across to the wonderful Plettenberg Bay. On arrival you will check into the Hog Hollow Country Lodge where you will spend the next 3 nights. Set on the edge of indigenous forest, with breathtaking views of the valleys and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Enjoy outstanding cuisine, stylish accommodation, panoramic views and friendly hospitality. Sixteen unique African-styled suites situated in the lush gardens around the main house, offer private wooden decks, hammocks, king-size beds & most have cosy fireplaces. Mouth watering breakfasts are served out on the boma deck, while scrumptious communal dinners are served in the conviviality of the candle-lit main house. Activities range from lazing at the long, blue pool, taking a sauna, a forest walk to a primate sanctuary, over 50 chartered walks, horse riding, golf, world’s highest bungy jump, boat-based whale & dolphin watching, treetops canopy walk or a scenic glider flight around the bay. There is also plenty of time over the next couple of days for you to explore Plettenberg bay, its beaches and The Crags with many interesting animal activities and encounters.
Today you will be travelling half way back towards Cape Town, stopping in the coastal village of Knysna and Mossel Bay. After 4-5 hours, check in at Jan Harmsgat Country House just outside the beautiful historial village of Swellendam. Jan Harmsgat Country House is the perfect stop-over on your journey. This morning you will have the chance to explore Swellendam and its museums in the morning, before transferring back to Cape Town where you check into The Green Annexe central in Cape Town.

You will be picked up at an agreed itme and driven to the airport for your onward journey or journey home.
